Sam Myers is a guitarist and composer living and performing in the Asheville, NC area. A self-taught lifelong musician, he brings a unique perspective to solo acoustic guitar which reflects a deep interest in folk, jazz, classical, Celtic, and world music traditions.
Lazy Birds
LAZYBIRDS is a classic American roots band from the mountains of North Carolina. Specializing in good time music that is just about impossible not to move to, there is also a depth to the band that faithful fans have treasured over the years.
The ‘Birds cover a lot of musical ground, from early American stringband music to Dylan classics, as well as classic sounding originals, but deep roots are what hold all of these sounds together.

“High Water is a post Hurricane Helene band that formed in Black Mountain, NC after the Helene Music Series at the Railyard ended. Andy Hughes, Kenny Phillips, Bryce Robertson, and Eric Manos put their creative minds together to form a project that includes musical styles that range from Rock to Blues to Jazz to touches of Bluegrass. Lots of originals along with memories from the bands that formed our musical DNA.”
